Thanks to the stand, Sitnwraps design, and High Plains Drifter's advice I'm finally getting some better pictures. I got my templates back too so now I can do some set shapes again. Turitella agate. Snowflake obsidian. Rainbow obsidain from Amber. Red jasper from Biker Randy. Lizard stone. I cut with the bands rather than across the bands like you usually do. Laguna agate with a lot of rhyolite plumes. Graveyard plume from Amber from Stonesthatrock. Amethyst lace. Adventurine. Rock crystal and citrine. Self collected in Prospect Park PA with Bejewelme and Nature nut. I'm not sure who picked up this piece. My favorite out of this bunch.

Tony, another superb set of cabs! That last one has me drooling! I LOVE how well-defined the crystals are within the cab. Did you have trouble keeping it from fracturing as you were working it?

Beautiful "severals", Tony! The Turritella and the red jasper are my favorites in this group.

Hey Tony, I recognized the little rounded "feet". lol. You did another beautiful set of cabs here. Too many favorites to pick one but I will say you and Amber are doing gorgeous work on that PA citrine.

Nicole, Yea the material is kind chippy and some voids exposed themselves as I ground. This one has lots of CA glue in it.
Deeptime, it does have a bit of translucency but not much. Most of what I've seen of rainbow and royal velvet obsidian are pretty opaque.

Awesome set! The turitella is great. A dealer I met told me that if you look at it under a microscope, the shells are actually filled with microscopic fossilized shrimp. I've never tried it.
