Weekend after next I'm going to be showing my cabs and such at the CFMS show in San Jose. I always rotate different slabs each time I display at a show so my display case won't get stale. Its been quite a few months since I have had extra time to work on really big cabs so I could have new ones to show. This one is a Brazilian Agates slab that is 5" across. Thanks for looking. Bob

That's a beauty. Creating large cabs must be fun as you don't have to segment the slab's patterns like you would when making smaller cabs.
Have fun at your show.

I found this one at the Castro Valley Club show last month at 1/2 off. Got it for $4. When I find a slab like this I couldn't possibly imagine cutting it up into small cabs. It would destroy the total beauty of the material. Many years ago this is what motivated me to learn how to do large cabs so I could preserve all of this magnificence. Bob

You are certainly the king of big. Stunning cab and an amazing size. I have to try doing one that big someday.

That Brazilian is just awesome, I can't wait to see the rest of your display at the show! If I remember to bring the camera, and my daughter's Brownie troop lets me have the time, I'll take a picture of your display. The Brownies are going to work on their hobby badge at the show. Maybe, I can sneak off while they work on the badge!
