Wow!!!! I had a great time today!!! I smell like an oil can but I got to play with the saw. Once I realized that I did not have to have a death grip on the rocks ... I did a bit better ... Spent most of my time just slicing things open and seeing the insides and boy .... some surprises ... In the next few days I will try to post some picks of the stuff I cut ... However ... one thing needs immediate display. A while back a very wonderful RTH'er sent me a thunder egg and it has been making me nuts not knowing what is inside .... Oh my god!!! talk about wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to wet this again so you can get an idea but .... There are some black crystals along with some (smaller) crystals and what appear to be petrified (?) filiments ....? I do not know ... The hollow section is about (less than an inch wide) ... 1" .... I would love input on this!!!!!

Hi Julie, glad you had fun with the saw.And that Thunderegg is awesome. You never know what you will find inside them. Now that you have stepped out onto that slippery slope there's no hope of clawing your way back up.Grab a small tile saw on your way down and hang on!!!Enjoy the ride!!! Happy Easter,Mike
