The Santa Cruz Mineral & Gem Society will be hosting their annual show on Saturday and Sunday April 25 & 26, 2009 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. There are vendors, exhibits, door prizes, a treasure wheel and a treasure hunt for the kids. This year the club is trying to expand a little bit on the kids activities: there will be inexpensive UV lights for sale by the club, some kid-oriented fluorescent mineral kits, etc. More information and a discount coupon can be found at the club's website: www.scmgs.org.
Karen and I will be working and selling at the show. If you come, please do stop by and say hi! We can be identified because we will be the only ones there that are selling T-shirts and the gem/treasure scoop.
