LOL!!! ;D Nah...you won't catch me combat hounding either! The kids like to get in there and mix-it-up though! The real action are the tailgaters in the parking lot. Buyers & sellers. Sounds good Warren! I have a few sporting schedules to cross reference, but I'm definitely gonna go both days if I can.

The combat hounding was extreme!!! I had butts in my face the whole time! I was gathering and collecting quite a few...some ADULTS were just grabbing handfuls of rock...as if they were going to see what they collected later. I felt bad for the little ones...they had NO CLUE what to look for...I was by these little girls and I was finding tons of agates...I felt bad so I gave up a medium/small paint agate that had quite a few lines, then gave another agate to her sister... they just looked up at me with a big smile and said, "Tank you ;D" it was so cute! Once I was done looking in that area...I got up and tried to move, but when I stood up, all I could see was an ocean of bobbing heads and backs! I couldn't move to collect more, so I just decided to get out of there. ;D Over all I had tons of fun! ;D hope to do it again next year!

Forgot to ask if WarrenA, MrP, HardRock or Superior Agates made it there?

Wahoo!!!! Looks like tons of fun! My goodness, I had no idea what combat hounding was like-- and now I know. LOL.
Kayla, that was a very nice thing you did for those little girls. They will remember that you did that for a long time and maybe pass the favor on. Who knows, you might have just initiated two mini-rockhounds into the club! Good for you!

Very cool pics! Looks like you had a great time. I'm going to try and get out there next year unless I go to the Billings show.

I was there. I had to leave before 10:00 so not enough time. I had my RTH Tee shirt on but also had to have a light jacket on. I had the jacket open but nobody must have noticed. The other problem is if everybody else was like me, my head was always looking down. Next year we have to set up a meet point..........MrP

I didn't make it. I spent Saturday fixing a plumbing leak. Thanks for posting the photos and videos! Are you going to set up a table next year? Chuck

WOW...thanks for sharing your pics...as far as the agates, too many zeros in the prices make it a little rich for my blood but they sure are pretty!!

MrP...Yes, we'll have to meet somewhere next year. It was such a last minute thing for us to even be able to attend. I was looking for RTH shirts, but there were way more people than I thought there would be. Chuck... I don't know about a table, depends if I'm still coaching next year. I'd have to put some serious time into prepping stuff to justify a table. Coaching has consumed just about every spare moment I've had this year. Gem'n I...I'm gonna have to find rocks that size in order to own them, 'cause there way too many zeros on them for my pocket book too!!!

Looks like a fantastic outing but I was a bit shocked at the prices on things there! WOW! I am glad you all had a great time and the girls found some good ones! Fran
