I saw Tony’s (Catmandewe) post about the beautiful church window he built and installed before Easter. It is amazing that he had time to do that, because he and Chris spent the previous weekend over here in eastern Idaho, sledding with us. One of my reasons for posting this is to show off some of Tony’s more “primal” woodworking skills. After making the arrangements for Chris and Tony to drive over here for a late season sledding weekend, we were worried that we wouldn’t find enough snow. Saturday actually turned out great, a beautiful sunny day, the hills and canyons all to ourselves, and good snow. Tony and Chris are both killer (Kamikaze?) riders, as is my husband, Stan. I am NOT. They humored me, though, and let me (coerced to) tag along. Great View. Tony and Chris Chris took this picture of Stan, Tony and me. Here is where I parked my sled after crossing a TINY, TINY creek. I was so embarrassed and worried that I broke it, but Chris and Tony just laughed and said “That’s nothing!” And here is Tony, using his “woodworking skills” to remedy the situation. (Stan would have helped him, but at the same time, he had gone to the top of another hill and buried his sled in the snow.) He worked to get it out, but again, he said "That's Nothing!" You can see by this picture, the guys had a blast and really enjoyed themselves. We had a great weekend. Thanks Tony and Chris for the rocks, the great slabs, and all the tumbling/polishing advice! Now, I think we are all looking for some sunshine, drier ground, and warmer weather so we can get out and find more rocks. Thanks for looking! Barb

We always have a great time at Barb and Stan's place. Looks like that might be the last ride of the year. Here are a couple extra pics. (Don't let Barb fool you, I saw her stick that sled in the bush just so we would think she didn't know how to ride) This is at Spencer, Idaho. One of my favorite places to ride, lots of rolling hills with enough steep stuff to keep you on your toes, trees are usually far enough apart you can ride right through them at speed (usually being the operative word here). We usually see some wildlife here, this is the first year we have ridden there that we have not seen any moose. Hope this trend does not continue. Oh yeah Barb, this is where I am supposed to tell you that you need a cat, cause they can climb trees!! An old barn The group My wife, Chris, with Barb in the background Barb's husband Stan Thanks for havin us Barb and Stan, we had a blast!! Tony and Chris

Hey Tony, I need a cat so it can climb trees? Then I supose somebody would have to saw down the tree to get me out. Doesn't sound enjoyable. :-)
It really wasn't that cold and the sunny day was beautiful.

Another note: I like that Tony and Chris have matching outfits to their snowmobiles, it makes me think you guys need lime green cabs to wear!! You know I love accessorizing!!
