Has anyone ever seen obicular inclusions in rainbow obsidian? This is a slab I cut yesterday. The colors in the slad don't look like lines. They look like crinkled colored tinfoil.

Rather than "rainbow" that might be more like Stoner's "royal velvet obsidian", can't wait to see some of it polished!

I've never heard of royal velvet before could be interesting. It wasn't fun to orient it.

Well, since it is the only piece I have...I will wait to make something special. I hope to find more in the box of obsidian I have.
