Well, I decided I was going to cut up all the rocks I had....Didn't get that far but felt like I should have. I spent from 10-5 cutting rocks yesterday. In this first group, I have shattukite from desertdweller, wood from catmandewe, rodocrosite from Stonesthatrock and some from when I went to Randy's. Love the little green and white one from desertdweller The woods, one I cut with the grain and you can see the difference Purple burrow creek from Jamie and a stone from the shop close to Randy's Most of this was from the shop by Randy's I love the color in this agate Some lace And last, but not least Now this was the slabs and slabbets cut. I also cut more rough preforms...That's for another day though. Fran

I especially like the purple burro creek. I am looking forward to making some preforms of that! Fran

You must have been quite relentless to cut that much stone in that timeframe. Did you take lessons from Randy? LOL
Nice slabs ... can't wait to see the cabs!

There's a few rhyolites and agates in there that look like they came from my neck of the woods. You have a really nice and varied assortment to work with.
I know what its like to go on a saw binge. How can you posibly stop when every piece is that sweet. I call it "lost in rock".

I really do enjoy finding out what is inside of a rock! I tend to like to do things in sections. Cutting and preforms, rough shaping and finally get to finishing some cabs. It may be a while before I finish anything. I still have a bunch of rocks I want to slab and see how they look. We had a bit of rain today and I could see how pretty the rocks were. I had to go out and take a couple of pics before going to work. Fran
