In a recent post I has half bragging about filling my collection bucket with 75 lbs of seam agate in about 20 minutes from Partridge Island. This is the third week I have collected beneath the agate cliffs, and I expected to arrive home with much more of the same old stuff. Did I get a sweet surprise when I fired up the tile saw this morning. One of two things happened. Either (1) I am getting too old and missed all the good stuff on my first two visits, or (2) fresh new material continues be break from the cliff face and no one else can be bothered to go and get it. I'm hoping it's (2), but some days I wonder. Anyways, back to the tile saw. I was almost instantly mesmerized by my finds, lost track of time, and cut for about 5 hours before I had to come up for air. Once again, I will limit my enthusiasm to my favorite ten, but it was tough to choose. Photo 1 - Almost transitions to faint blush of Amethyst Photo 2 - Agate sandwich Photo 3 - Stormy seas Photo 4 - Jimi Hendrix Experience Photo 5 - Ah, you made me blush Photo 6 - Red plume with some banding Photo 7 - Translucent to opaque and almost every color Photo 8 - Blue and gray transitions to lace Photo 9 - Lace on top Photo 10 - Black eye One of the joys of self-collecting is ... you get to make up your own names! Thanks for viewing. 150FromFundy

Some lovely and unusual specimens. I especially love the soft pinks and oranges. If you decide you want to sell or trade, please pm me! I'm definitely drooling! Susan2
