We fired up the saw I got from Tony last night. Cuts great but . . .supposedly it didn't have a crossfeed. (now I don't know if that was meant as no auto crossfeed or that the existing vise was limited) Hubby was crying that we could only cut certain sized rock because the vise was so far from the blade. I didn't get into it much because "he" was being the man, you ladies know what i mean. This morning I went out to check it out myself and guess what? There was a wingnut on the side so I checked to see what it would do. Bingo! Crossfeed!!!! Woo-hoo. ;D Rocks are being cut up now!

Nancy: I can relate! One morning I poured Tony his coffee and sat it literally right in front of him, well he kept saying, where is my coffee, where is my coffee, I said right there, and do you think he could see it? LOL!!!
We are blonde, but we have our smart moments with technology!!!! Way to go getting that saw cutting!

Now can anyone tell me how to STOP cutting rocks??? I've been at it all day, dead on my feet tired but couldn't stop! Okay, I finally did but only because it was 7 pm and I had to make dinner.
Yup Tony. It was the best ;D I am amazed at the speed it cuts. I thought it would probably take like a long time to make a cut, but I barely have time to run in the house and back out! That's on 3-4 inch rocks. Love it. Not much paint left on it after today, lol.

Take it easy on the guy. You might damage his ego. It sounds like you may be cutting a little too fast though. Blades aint cheap.

Congrats Nancy! (Both on getting a saw and figuring out the crossfeed.)
My 10" saw has an autofeed of about 5 minutes per inch. I don't know whether that is typical...
