One of my favorite stones, time for a batch of them. Did things a bit different than my standard tumble this time around -- in the fine grind and pre-polish stages I cut the grit back to 7 Tb in a 6 lb barrel instead of Lortone's recommended 10 Tb, and based on a tip from Mel I cut back the AlO polish to 5 Tb from the recommended 12 Tb. (I think Mel cuts back even more). Anyway, I couldn't see any difference in the results compared to using the higher amounts, even when examining the stones with a 10X jeweller's loupe.
