Anyone on here from this area? I'm on the lookout for some nearby areas to walk, relax, and collect. Thanks!

On the north end of Duluth is Brighton Beach. No sand, just lake rounded stone and pebbles! Never found any large agates, but a lot of nice things to pick up. If you are traveling and have a car, Beaver Bay is about 45 miles up the North Shore. There is a rock shop there, and many places to stop and pick in between there and Duluth.
Good luck.

Anywhere along the shore has interesting stuff, provided you're not on state park land or private land.

I'm in Duluth, and if a relaxing rock picking walk is what your after, I can't think of anything better than the shore of Lake Superior.
