This is a nice chunck of Galena which I just cleaned and found it was pretty. If anyone has Galena that has gotten dark you can clean it with a soft brush and water and comet (powered) learned that tip at the Clement Museum in KY. Donna

You might want to consider rubber gloves. That's a serious chunk of lead. Not one that you want to lick to bring out the colors. Nice score!

We have several mines near us in Wisc. but never seen anything resembling that one :drool:
