The 35th Annual Valley Springs Pow Wow is this coming weekend. Lots of good slabs and rough. 200 vendors. Antique gas engine club display. Radio controlled airplanes buzzing around. One booth has a church ladies group selling home made pies. My favorite booth!!! Valley Springs, California is about 30 miles northeast of Stockton. 60 miles Southeast of Sacramento. Bob

Folks, if you live close enough, this is a show not to miss. I went every year when I lived in California. I was never disappointed and often amazed at the fine and often rare material available at good prices at that show....Mel

I live very close!!! (7 miles) and I'm not about to miss it!!! I've been going for the last 25years but previously I had to travel 120 miles from the Bay Area. I get most of my cutting material at this show. Bob

Man I knew there was something I was supposed to do that weekend, instead I'm going to Hearst Castle. Hey Bobby- if I put in some requests and send you some money, could you pick me up a few goodies I'm looking for?

Any and all, Stop by my booth and say HI!
I'm in spot G7, if memory serves correctly; the north-east corner of the intersection of G/H and the second "aisle."
Look for black canopies, two Ford pickup-trucks-with-campers and a grey WellsCargo trailer.

Honestly - we bailed out  . We've gone through two wet-weekends there in the last 10 years. Just no fun , especially having to put away wet canopies, wet table covers, and having mud tracked throughout the camper and trailer. From people I've talked to, it was the right decision for us.

Too bad!, at least I feel a little better about spending the weekend in San Simeon.
