Maryann: You know I am no pro with the camera, but I think the wire wraps look really good, and I think the white background is better for the slab pics too. Check the white balance on your camera. Are you adjusting the color of the pics? Sometimes that makes the white background turn sort of pinkish, but you almost have to adjust the color to accuratley portray the rocks, are they wet? Amber

all the slabs are wet, but not the wirewraps. I can't find an adjustment on the camera to change the color. I might have someone come over and teach me how to do all this. It might be worth it in the end.

The slab photos are awesome. What is the blue and pink combo in Photo 6 and Photo 7? Really nice stuff!
The wire wraps are mind-boggling! It's hard to believe that that can be done with a single wire.

I think the pics are ok. They look ok here on my monitor. But, here is my two cents worth. How about about using a neutral grey background? It is called 18% grey. Still, black or white backgrounds are good to use also as they can help with how the final image comes out. Here is a site to check out regarding backgrouns. www.clouddome.com/specs/prodShot_ibb01.htmlAnd on those slabs, I really really want some like those. Great lookin material! Mike

MA Don't just use a gray. Go to a photo shop and get 18% gray. :2cents:

Boy, your photos are looking pretty darn good. Very nice looking blue swirlstone slabs! I like that material best when it has the lighter pinks and whites along with the blue....Mel
