On March 10th I made my first collecting trip this year. There was still some snow on the ground, but I thought I'd have a look at Scot's Bay. It never disappoints. I spent 3 hours or so combing the beach and found enough to fill a 6lb lortone barrel. I see why they call it "Rockhound's Paradise". Some of that material looks like Botswana, some like Dryhead/Tepee Canyon, some like Lake Superior, etc. Cool batch!

#5 looks like a Montana
#7 and #8 look like Carnelian nodules
#9 looks like a Botswana
What are these doing in Nova Scotia? I got to get me to Scotts Bay.

My, oh my, oh my!!! The trip pictures are wonderful and in that 4th one, I just want to take a bucket and scoop some rocks up!
All of the tumble photos are great! You really have some beautiful shine on all of them!
