This auction is to help out Ronda (Akansan) so she can get to her sister's graduation. All proceeds should be sent to her. I will pay the shipping to anywhere in the world. I will open the bidding with a bid of $50.00.
Ends at 10pm Mountain time on Wednesday evening, that will give you time to get the cash to Ronda before she needs to leave.
I dug through my personal stash and came up with 3 pieces of the big 5 jaspers. I found a chunk of Morrisonite, a chunk of Willow Creek, and a chunk of dark Bruneau.
The winning bidder will get all 3, plus I will finish filling a flat rate box with some great agate from the TJ1 mining claim (Sage Creek agate, Snake River agate, Graveyard Point plume agate, etc)
Here are the 3 pieces
We will start off with the Bruneau, has some hints of red and green wisps in the background, it really depends on how this one is cut as to how it will look. This piece weighs 11.2 ounces, almost 3/4 of a pound will make some fantastic cabs!!
Measures 1.5 x 2 x 3 inches
Wet
dry
backside dry
Now for the Willow Creek, this is a heel cut, still has a few slabs left on it. Has some matrix attached, I would guess half matrix, half jasper. Weighs in at 2 pounds 8.5 ounces. I took pictures wet and dry and there is almost no difference in the pics.
measures 2x4x6 inches
faced side
back side
A chunk of Morrisonite, I put it on the saw and made a face cut on it to make sure there was something decent in there. It has some unusual colors in it for Morrisonite. Piece weighs 1 pound 11.1 ounces.
measures 2x5x4 inches
Whole piece
the face cuts
the back side, you can see that the jasper extends all the way through the piece
I will pack these carefully, then I will finish filling up the box with some good material off of the TJ1 claim. If you have something special you would like included, you can also contact me when you send me your address and let me know what it is. If I can accomodate in any way I will.
Bid big and bid often, it is for a great cause.
Have a great day......................Tony
