In a few weeks I will be in the Minneapolis area for a week and would like to plan a full day trip of rock hounding with my daughter. Any suggestions for anywhere near Minneapolis up to Lake Superior? I will be leaving Ames, Iowa Sunday morning and not flying out of Minn/St. Paul until Tuesday afternoon. We can head in any direction.
