Hello, everyone! In a few days Ina will celebrate her name day (Saint Helen). Believe it or not, all I'm going to give her as a present is a flower. Ina, if you visit this place - yes she's a lurker ;D - please stop HERE! The rest of you, please take a look: As you can see, the petals and the leaves are groove wrapped. The middle is made of tiger eye which is glued with epoxy in its place. I have in mind to "seed" this flower on a special rock, so I'll come back with new pics in a few days. OH, and I forgot to mention that the leaves are made out of a moss agate slab that I have from LadyBeabea - she sent it to me together with her leaves. Thank you again Kate! Thank you all for looking, Adrian

Oh......my.........gosh Adrian!!!!!! That is simply stunning. It rivals the beauty of a "real" flower. I cant say anything that hasnt been said before, that your talents are truly amazing and you are an inspiration to all here.

Hi again, I finished it! ;D As I told you before, I made its base out of a special rock: a piece of a jade boulder that I have from Tony-Nephrite. He picked it from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Thank you Tony, I hope you like the project based on your stone! Here it is: The hole in the jade is about 1 inch deep. I glued it with epoxy. As you see, the height of the flower is ten inches: And here are two pics of the back: Thanks again for looking and for your kind words, Adrian

Wow, that's breathtakingly beautiful. And so original in thought and nature (pun) LOL. I know from getting original pieces of keep sakes from Randy that she will absolutely adore it and treasure it always. You are quite the talented gent.

wow that such fine creation/idea! excellent craftsman the above comments says it well its obvious you adore Ina here's a sonnet by Shakespeare #130 its about not comparing our beloved's even to nature's beauty our love is higher than any physical manifestation o he was being a little curmudgeonly in this particular sonnet but I think he was pointing a finger at some bad romantic poetry My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun; Coral is far more red than her lips' red; If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun; If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head. I have seen roses damask'd, red and white, But no such roses see I in her cheeks; And in some perfumes is there more delight Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks. I love to hear her speak, yet well I know That music hath a far more pleasing sound; I grant I never saw a goddess go; My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground: And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare As any she belied with false compare.
hope you enjoy Adrian posted with respect!
