Well I have now finally taken my first work with Labradorite through the full process from the rough to the finished item. I have learnt that Labradorite does persent a number of challenges at all stages of the process including the finishing but I believe that these challenges only serve to enhance the satisfaction when you end up with a finished item of jewellery. These are my very first attempts with this wonderfully enchanting stone and I know I will be doing a lot more work with this stone. There is a full post with description on my blog at: www.roughrocks.co.uk/?p=211All the best Dave

Dave, I really liked these. Working with stuff that has schiller can be tricky and all angles have to be taken into account to get the effect. I know, it can really mess with your head. Great job on producing a finished product in a way that maximizes the glow. You did great and I learned even more about working with this stuff. Thanks for posting this! Jo

You did a beautiful job on those. I love the flash in Labradorite.

The bindings on the second one are really nice and tight and the wrap hugs the stone well! Great job! Fran
