Those are really nice Fran. I'm especially curious about those speckled reddish grey ones in pictures 7, 8 & 9. What are they? Thanks in advance,
Don

Wow what a colorful batch! I really like the brecciated material and the jasper that looks like bloodstone. You had the patience to run them till they were nice and rounded too.....Mel

Look at that Red Jasper shine! MJ's purple stuff looks good in there, too. Is that fancy bloodstone, or just bloodstone? Man, I love how that stuff shines... And the brecciated is just like speckled, birds egg jelly beans. Superb!

Thanks everyone. Yep, there are bloodstones, fancy jasper, brecciated jasper that had a high matalic content in some of them, red and green jasper from the rock shed and the speckled greyish purple ones are jasper from Michael John. I also have a piece of his seam agate right in the center of them that was a trial to see how it would tumble. It really came out nicer than the picture shows. They took a very long time in the tumblers to get them rounded before moving on to the vibe. The ones that didn't make it were not photoed and are already back in the vibe. I suspect I had too much water in the vibe for the burnish and they started hitting each other. I have a lot more jasper that I have gotten to the 500 grit and are now just waiting for a spot in the vibe. In the last picture, there is a stone in the center top. It is mainly matalic and heavier than the others. I am pretty sure it was one of the brecciated before it tumbled so long. It still has a lot of red to it. Fran
