::)Now what were you thinking? I tumbled a bunch of garnets and threw in some other small quartz for filler. I didn't think most of the quartz would make it because they were either thin or small chips in them. Well, most of them turned out great but some of the amethyst still have some small cracks. First, a bad picture of all the garnets: The citrine turned out really nice I think: Here are some amethyst, clear, smoky and rose quartz. Thanks for looking ;D Fran

I love those stones!!! Smaller stones in batches like that are wonderful!!
A friend of mine calls batches of small stones "blessing stones". Not sure why .... but they sure are pretty!
As always Julie

I like your itty bitty's Fran!!! I think every good batch of stones need the appropriate quantity of itty bitty's.

Fran: Those are super!!!! Love the garnets and the citrine and amethyst!! How do you display your stones Fran? Do you have special bowls of seperated material, or do you combine them? Just curious, I had to buy a shelf, and then another and have all my tumbles seperated by which friends made them, but it is starting to take over my living room! LOL I have a Fran bowl!!!

I still haven't decided what to do with the garnets. They are so pretty but small. I wish I could put them into a plate of hot glass but I bet they would heat fracture if you did that. Something that they would be secure in and be see through, kind of like a sun catcher...I will have to give it some thought. The amethyst chipped but they were fractured pieces so they did better than expected. Fran
