First off .... DAM ..... the Gryphon grooves like the stone is butter. SWEET!!!!!! Very cool!!!!! 3 seconds to groove a cab. WOW!!!! Here is my first groove wrap. I tried following the groove and bail tutorial. Personally, I do not care for this first one. I know ... it takes time to find ones groove (hahahhahahah) in ones own style. The stone kept popping out of the groove. I am thinking that this may be because the groove is not deep enough. Input? I also had trouble with the bail. I used half hard half round. I think that may have been my problem. Input?

Julie, I use 20g half hard, square wire. But I've heard of people using half round. Try square. Lookin' good.

Julie: It looks really good!!! I found you have to get used to grooving deep enough to hold the wire and getting it uniform the whole way around. Tony is still trying to figure out a bumper of sorts to balance exactly hosw deep to make the cut, and when hge does I think he will mass produce them for all the Gryphon users!
It looks great and with each try you will find your mojo! Try using the half round wire, we find that is nice if you put the round side in, and let the flat side on the outside, it twists very easily and that is the bugger, trying not to have it twist on you! Hope that all made sense??? Keep at it!!! Amber
