Ok ~ I just got back from my mines this past weekend and I have several more trips planned for the next several months.... So it's time to start clearing rocks! Right now I have 3 flat rate boxes with more to come! The first box is a mixture of small carnelian and other various pieces of agate. I'm going to call this tumbling grade as it's small, however I'm sure there's pieces good enough to cab? The box weighs 30 Pounds and I'm asking $25.00 + Shipping. The second box is - A nice selection of Fallen Tree Thundereggs fresh dug from my mine this past Saturday. They are all smaller eggs 1" to 3" and they contain anything from Agate, Opal and zeolite centers. In this mine the majority of the eggs seem to be hollow with zeolite centers - Unsure what exact minerals are present but there's several. Kids love to break these open! This box weighs 22 Pounds and I'm asking $30.00 + Shipping. The last box is Midnight/Mahogany Lace Obsidian from Glass Butte, Oregon. This is the most popular type obsidian for flintknapping as it's a transparent/transluscent colored base glass with black flow bands... Very pretty material! This box weighs 25# and I'm asking $35.00 + shipping. The box contains smaller pieces as well. Around fist size +/- a bit.If interested send me PM Thanks!

Coasthunterjay ~ The agates range from 1/2" upwards of a couple inches.... A good majority runs around a 1" though. Some is smooth chunks and other is very rough "natural shaped". Yes I have lots of material, However I think that's all the carnelian I have.....I have plenty of other agate I can mix in the box for you though! If you want a mixture of agate and Fallen Tree Eggs... Not a problem at all. How about $25.00 + Shipping for a mix box and also on the agate let me know the size preference... I can do small tumbling mix or fist sized chunks of various material for cabs? The Thundereggs I ship are smaller in the 1-3" range as these tend to be the better quality material. Many of the larger eggs are just duds. Oh you know something - I do have some smaller agates which I hand picked from a batch of river stones....They are all small in the range from 1/4" upwards of 1" however I'd say the majority run 1/2" to 3/4". It has clear agate, carnelian etc.... Due to the time it took my to hand pick these little boogers I'd like to get a hair more from them.... I was selling it for $3.00lb however if you wanted a flat rate box of half of these plus eggs I'd go $1.50lb..... or I'd call it $45.00 + $10.35 for a small flat rate box. Anyrate let me know! So for a mixed box of agate and thunder eggs it would be $25.00 + $10.35 for shipping?
i am looking for mostly agates for slabs so the larger the better...i dont need any tumblers...so what you have in the box looked good....and for the thunderegss i really wouldnt need that many...only a handfull of them......I will have to start saving up for that cost Though. maybe a couple weeks. Ill let you know if i can in a wek or so. Thanks again man, your rocks look awesome! Jay

Excellent to hear everything made it A-OK for you and on the same day as I guessed it would I forgot to mention, when cracking these eggs the best thing to do is center your hammer strike along the "veins" or "pressure ridges" on the Thunderegg. Light taps until they start to open.. Some of them might end up in more than a couple pieces though =) Enjoy! Jason
