I was shooting some high res pics of opal wraps recently, in preparation of starting to put some up for sale, and was shocked at how bad a good wrap looks when the camera sees it rather than my blurry old eyes Lots of gaps that need closing and ends that need tucking down better. Even ones I had gone over need going over, lol. Oh, well. A good lesson learned the hard way. In my defense I find the gold filled I got from Fire Mt. to be hard to bend/work. I am ready to buy some more. Any thoughts from ya'll on who has good gold filled. I am prone to go with Monster Slayer where I get my silver, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks! Quartz I found in the yard wrapped in gold filled. Koroit in gold filled. Wish I could find this stuff in the yard!! Wonderstone in silver. Koroit opal in copper and silver. Unknown in copper. Koroit opal in silver. Thanks, Tony

T: They are looking good, I really like that first quartz! The first BO does it for me! And that unknown in copper is cool. I bet there is BO in your yard, pieces that fly and break when cutting!!LOL Great job! Amber

ooooo....WAy to go Tony! The first is my fav... Shoot, I'd like to find anything in my yard...this hill I live on is Caliche, no stones anywhere. I haven't bought GF in a loooooong time. I know that Brandywine Jewelry supply has GREAT wire. That is where I use to buy it.

Your wraps look great. My favorites are the first and the second and if you are working with half hard, then my hats off to you especially with what you did in the first pic. Half hard does not cooperate with fluidity the way dead soft does.

Thanks, all, for your kind words! Makes fighting the wire worthwhile Nancy...oddly enough I just got an ad from Brandywine announcing a sale on gold filled, but the ones they are selling cheap (37 bucks an ounce...a good price} are not the wires I need. But anyone wanting round gold check out Brandywine. Tony
