Way too wet. I'm afraid you'll need to rinse and start again with damp rocks and new grit. Start the tumbler and use a spray bottle to spray water so that the grit just covers each rock and you can't see any more color. You should get your folding action then.

BTW, you're not going through anything that anyone else hasn't gone through, so don't fret. You'll get it. They need much less water than the rotary, practically none.

Yes, way too much water! You only need the rocks wet enough that the grit sticks to them. i always start my vibe with rocks and grit, and no water! Turn the vibe on, and spray water inside until the rocks move and the grit makes them turn gray. You shouldn't see any slurry collecting at the bottom of the vibe, it should all be on the rocks!

Hi Julie,
My :2cents:
When I got my Vibe Tom (Conrock) told me to fill the LOTO container with water add the stones (the water helps to stop breakages as you drop them into the empty bottle) You dont have this problem with you open topped bowl
Then tip it ALL out , --- The rocks are then wet/damp
1 - You have a different Vibe so before putting your rocks in the Vibe put rocks into a bucket of water then carefully place the damp rocks in the vibe bowl
this starts them all off wet so grit will stick to them and start to grind if the mixture is getting sticky give it a few sprays of water
You can see you dont need water at all ,just wet rocks ?
The rocks should look a Glossy grey not a Dull matt grey
The Above Vibe is Very aggressive and will soon need a few squrits of water as rock is quickly ground into Mud
If you add to much water (as above Pic) all you have is a glorified "Rock washing Machine "
Have a good day
Keep at it you will get there ,
I greatly admire your honesty & vidio taking, as the saying goes " a picture is worth a 1000 words"
