Well HPD asked if we would cut a groove in some cabs for him, well let me tell you I will have Tony working like a maniac, since Dan said we could each pick a cab to keep!!! This was a tough decision, but I choose this beautiful large oval tee pee agate. It is the perfect shade of peach for a new shirt I just got!! Thank you HPD I will have Tony cut for you anytime!!!! Tony wrapped it in 14kt 20 gauge. Shannon--read no further! Well we finally got the cabs for Shannon and Wolfden wrapped for the roaming wire event. And these were the happy new couple cabs I made them in anticipation of their new union. Tony did Shannon's in silver and I did Wolf's in black wire to try to make it look more manly. It is really hard to make a manly wrap and I think the black wire is the best, although I need a smaller gauge, this was 18 gauge, I need to find 20 gauge. Note my backwards bail, oops!!!! P.S. I still hate wrapping!!!

Amber and Tony, Nice Job! I want so bad to try that groove wrap...it looks like something I may be able to handle...note I said..."MAY". I like the black wire too. I can also understand why you chose that Teepee! That's one GORGEOUS Stone. Don't wear it to Moab...it may come up missing... Steve

Great job on the cabs and the wraps! Amber, I think you picked a real winner in that Teepee Canyon agate. Tony did a great job wrapping all of them too! Garry

Julie: It is black craft wire from AC Moore, it scratches very easily, so I touch it up with a sharpie, they have various colors, I think it just looks way more masculine for men. Need to find it in different gauges, 18 is very hard to work and too thick for the groove.
Steve: No stealing my tee pee, I will only wear the ones you made and Adrain made, then I know you won't be ripping off my HPD cabs!!! LOL! You better have the Holley Blue on I made you, and I might rip that off you, I still don't have a cab of that!!! I will bring the HPD cabs to Moab, for you and Adrain to see, they are little works of art!!

That bail is not backwards it is a yin bail to the yang bail. Ok, that was bad but it's the wee hour of the morn. The wraps are great. you must have whipped those bail bindings til they screamed because they sure are nice and tight and even.
That Tee Pee is amazing. Tony did a beautiful job on it and the Gold really brings out the yellow band in the stone.

Beautiful cab you picked, Amber! And Tony made a superb pendant. Very nice job on those twin pendants. I like both bails, no matter the orientation.

I think there is a better colored wire out there. Weeshan mentioned to me a long time ago about an anodized wire that doesn't scratch so easily. I'll have to look for some because I really like the black wire for dude wraps.

they look real good! YOu need to scratch a lot when doing a manly wrap, and spit and cuss too But mostly keep the remote close by and flip channels a lot while you wrap. And belch some too, if you can. T
