Well I've been tumbling rocks for a while and now I'm trying my hand at making cabs. I have a slight problem. I have only a few slabs and I'd like to get more. Unfortunately I live in southeast Michigan which makes hounding rocks more difficult so I buy a lot of my material. Can anyone suggest a good place to buy some slabs in bulk? (Other then Ebay)
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I can sell you some slabs and you can also get some slabs from Ralph and Maryann (Stonesthatrock) here on the forum. I think there are other people on here that sell slabs, also. Take your pick, I am sure you can find some here somewhere.

Tom,
I also sell slabs directly off my site. Link (like so many others here) is in the signature portion of my messages.

Tom: You cant go wrong with the members that sell on here, any and all of them are super!!! Look for their websites under their posts! Just ask and someone might have what you are looking for. I try to buy from members, if I can't find it on here then I will look elsewhere.

Tom, If you let me know what you're looking for, I'll see if I have any with me. We travel during the summer, so my inventory is limited, but I've still got about 300 lbs. Got to have something to play with, you know. JoAnne

I just bought some gorgeous slabs from Riverbendlapidary. He has tons of huge stones as well as piles of slabs of all descriptions. Some of his is on eBay, some is not (yet). If you have an idea of something in particular you might be looking for, he might have it. Real good guy to deal with, too!

If you are just looking for practice slabs I can do you a deal on a flat rate box full of slabs. That should give you enough to get the basics down and keep you busy for a while.
