Here some pictures of the vibe batch. Most of the stones/rocks are not where I would want them to be even by (almost done) 60/90 standards. These stones/rock are all wet ... so really no indication of how they will really come out. So I rinsed, checked a dozen or so, recharged with only 3 tablespoons grit (120/220) this time and 5 tablespoons pellets, and spritzed. I am no longer and have not been since the first few days water logged and think I am on track with enough rock. All input is welcome ... Need to order more grit another bowl for the pre & polish.

Looks like a nice batch. Sometimes it takes a week to get that first phase done, cleaning every day or other day. Sometimes it is better to tumble them through the 120-220 and then vibe them for the 500, 100 and polish. Good luck! Fran

Vibes pretty much "maintain shapes" so 60/90 only wears out bowls. You should start with 120/220 and maybe less than 3 tablespoons. That is a "4-6 lb. tumbler. Vibes use a lot less grit. You will never get the rounded pebbles rotaries produce if that is what you are after. As someone said use the rotary to round off and save the vibe for fine , pre-polish and polish.
