I am new here but from all I have read this forum has tons of info. I expect to be here often. Yup, new here, more or less new to rocks, I am attempting to pick up where I left off many years ago. Cabbing and carving are my main interest and if I can just get them to come out the way my mind sees them, I will be really pleased.

What part of Florida are you at? We have a few members down there. I'm from Orlando but got stationed here in Virginia Beach in 82, still here! Anyhow, great to have you here!

Thanks for the welcome! I must admit, I do better woodwork than rocks so you'll have to wait for pictures of work I do. I'm in Plant City, home of the Strawberry Festival.

Welcome! There are several RTH members who live near you, one in Plant City (jcinpc). Lady Bea is East of Tampa, I'm down in Naples. And, thanks to jcinpc, I now know that there really ARE rocks in Florida!!!!! Susan2 (there's another Susan who joined before me)

Welcome Big Dawg!!!
I for one will love watching and seeing your craft with carving and cabbing.
I suck (quit laughing everyone) at cabbing. Or I should say I am learning.
As always ... Julie
