There's a good reason for spelling it out (honest) lol. This is from one of the chunks of agate in a box that I received from Micheal John. Every bit of material in the box is grade-A stuff. I just finished wrapping this a short while ago, and gave it to Cathy about 5 minutes ago. Now she wants earrings to go with it! lol Here's the back.....

That one is so pretty Randy! I can see why Kathy wants a complete set, that would really be beautiful! Michael John found some great stuff! Fran

Wow, beautiful, & I love the wrap too. Accents the stone, doesn't overshadow it. Jo

That is so elegant. It looks like a ballerina slipper when a ballerina is dancing on the tips of her toes.

You did such a great job on that, Randy! What I love about those OW____ SP____ agates from MJ are that each is so different and has so much going on in them! I don't think you can cut a bad slice! Hehe, pretty soon Cathy's co-workers will be clambering for pendant and earring sets too!

WOW! That stretched sail shape is gorgeous and the wrap is phenomenal! BEAUTIFUL artwork, Brother. I'm truly honored that I was able to supply you with the raw material for it.
Thank you for "hiding" the location. For those who don't know, the reasoning behind that is to keep it from coming-up in internet searches. If word gets widely-spread and the location starts getting bombarded by hounds, guaranteed that the BLM will shut it down. As of now, it's legal to drive out there and to hound, and it would be a tragedy if that were to change. By various means, the feds have seized all of the other great hounding locations in this area, including Wingate Pass, Sagenite Canyon, the two Owlshead area dry lakes, and many, many more. This is the LAST place left to hound material which is unique to this area.

It's just you. lol... The slabs from the rock are almost solid purple. I chose to make the cut close to the edge so the I got some of the mossy matrix in the cab, I think that it's more interesting this way. Other than that, the rest of the slab is solid purple.

I must say Randy there is a smoothness about your wraps. I grew up with art being a huge influence on my life so lines, colors, this and that about everything to do with art and style was huge to me and still is...
But seriously....your wraps could probably be put in small plaques for display and hung on a wall and called good.
