Well, I've finished up with my silversmithing class. I've had a tremendous amount of fun, and I'm dying to take another. Here are the projects I finished: Band ring - the texture is a grassy pattern made from paper rollerprinted on the silver: Pendant - this one I'm very proud of. The cab is a rutilated quartz I cabbed a month or so ago. The cut-out area has liver of sulfer in it to add some color and the large back piece is hammered for texture: Not bad for firsties, I think. I can't wait to do more!

I love your set piece! It's terrific! Is that another piece of wire outside the bezel?

Oh you did a beautiful job on those. You should be proud of that pendant. It is wonderful. How many classes did you take because silversmithing isn't easy.
I can see a new room set up in your basement with blow torches, acetilane tanks and pickle baths. lol

You did very well for your 'firsts' ! The ring has a very simple elegance to it. Woody

I already have the torch setup and tanks and pickle. I have a couple more supplies I'm waiting for, then I'm ready to go!

Nichole: Those pieces are just super! WOW, you learned a lot in 8 short weeks! The pendant is fabulous, I love the hammered effect! I always like to see texture in silver, and you are going to be a top notch silver woman!!!! Amber

Dang Nicole you got serious skills there. That pendent is great both in design and execution. Wish I could see the pattern better in the ring, it sounds interesting.
