Howdy folks, Well found the missing plume slabs from the Owlhead Mtns plus some other stuff I may or may not have posted before. Figured a pretty slab is always worth another look anyway and some of you newer folks may not have seen all these. Thanks for looking....Mel First off Cady's Fluorite Mine Plume: Hard rock mining but I flat love this stuff! Plume from the outlet of Afton canyon: More Wingate Plume slabettes: Larger slab of really unusual Wingate. This came off a huge piece that stopped my saw cold when I tried to slab it. More Owlhead Mtns Plume slices: And finally, the best slabs off the best little piece of Owlhead I've ever found . This stuff rivals the best Bishop Bouquet Plume I've ever seen and it was only maybe four ounces and no more to be found *sigh* The end cut: And a couple backlit macros:

Whoa ... hard to pick a favorite there. The Afton Canyon and Wingate really caught my eye.

Those are gorgeous! I really like the last one because it seems like it has just the right amount of plume versus the clear chalcedony. And that little piece of Owlhead is really sweet! Garry
