This is 25+ pounds of the Boysenberry Quartzite. This is a nice mix of various shades and textures of this gorgeous material. You get all of the stones in the pics, plus whatever else I can fit into the box. The weather and my camera were not cooperating today, so these pics aren't the greatest. The flash went off for the first pic, which is why it looks much different. Although I've always gone way overboard with taping-up my boxes, the US Postal Service has recently managed to desecrate a couple of my boxes, so I'm now doubling-up on the tape. They won't be easy to open, so please be careful not to hurt yourself if you're using a sharp instrument. The price is $25, including free Priority Mail shipping within the continental US (I pay the $10.35). Make your payment to my PayPal account, groovatism@hotmail.com, THEN PM me to let me know you've made the purchase, so that I can mark the lot as SOLD. For those who prefer not to pay online, I also accept US Postal money orders. If you live outside the continental US and wish to buy, please contact me before paying so that the shipping cost can be calculated.

Thanks, Jo!
This is really an exceptionally nice batch of this material. The patterns and colors are awesome. There are at least 100 sweet cabs to be had, and still have plenty left for a nice tumbling batch. When I was sorting these, I did a double-take at one of the dark pieces because it looked like a chunk of sugilite at first glance. Somebody's gonna be a real happy camper when they open this box.

I got a few pieces of this Quartzite in boxes from you in the past, MJ, and I just wanted to say that I have some preshapes in my vibe right now. Along with great color and patterning, this stuff tumbles really well. I have it in with some yellow, blue, pink and white quartz and it makes the batch really colorful.

Wow, MJ - if that boysenberry was broken up more to work in my little tumblers, I'd grab it quick! But pieces that big are difficult for me - with my little Workforce saw and max. 3lb. tumbler barrels, I'd have to get my sack and hammer, and get down on the driveway and pound them smaller. The getting down and then getting back up is quite problematic for me, so I don't do it.

I generally assume that people will "roll" them on the blade. Otherwise, if you want to tumble it, it would have to be busted-up, and believe me, I know that's not so easy.

As I've said before, you're a cruel, cruel man MJ. I don't claim to be a rockaholic for nothing you know. Jo
