This is 25+ pounds of agate, chalcedony, and a few jaspers, all from "Agate Road". You get all of the stones in the pics, plus whatever else I can fit into the box. The weather and my camera were not cooperating today, and I know that these pics are sub-par compared to my norm, but it's the best I could do today. I tried to take a lot of close-ups, because there are so many SWEET stones here, but the two that I've posted are the best that turned-out, and they're still very blurry. Although I've always gone way overboard with taping-up my boxes, the US Postal Service has recently managed to desecrate a couple of my boxes, so I'm now doubling-up on the tape. They won't be easy to open, so please be careful not to hurt yourself if you're using a sharp instrument. The price is $25, including free Priority Mail shipping within the continental US (I pay the $10.35). Make your payment to my PayPal account, groovatism@hotmail.com, THEN PM me to let me know you've made the purchase, so that I can mark the lot as SOLD. For those who prefer not to pay online, I also accept US Postal money orders. If you live outside the continental US and wish to buy, please contact me before paying so that the shipping cost can be calculated.

Boy those 2 in the close ups are really something, even if they're blurry. Somebody needs to snap these up fast. Sure wish I could, but my hobby account's tapped out at the moment.
For those of you who've never ordered from MJ, you're really missing a fantastic bargain. His boxes are packed as full as they can get, & it's all top quality stuff. I don't think he could have fit a toothpick into the last boxes I got.

I know, I have 3 (plus one more coming) boxes of great stuff, fully packed. I need to work through the boxes before I get any more.

I think a major issue with some folks is the pricing that we have on here. Let's face it, compared to most eBay sellers and lapidary websites, all the sellers price everything a LOT cheaper here. A lot of people figure that if it's cheap, it must be crap, so they just don't buy. That's understansable since the norm is that "you get what you pay for" in this world.
Jo, I beg to differ with your statement. With a little finesse, I think I could have fit three, maybe even four toothpicks in each of those boxes. ;D
For those of you have yet to buy from sellers here, I suggest that you take a leap of faith. There's not a bad seller in the bunch. You'll always get more than you bargained-for. If you look back through older sales threads, you'll find that even the "freebies" or "filler" that we add to the boxes is real nice stuff.

I'll step in and say that I got a box of this and it's really cool stuff and I haven't seen these particular agates anywhere else, and for a buck per pound! What's everyone waiting for?

Randy, if you take into consideration that my boxes generally weigh in the 30 pound range, and that over $10 goes to shipping, the actual cost is really around 50 cents a pound. So, yeah, it really is dirt cheap. As for what everyone is waiting for, HONESTLY, that's always a mystery to me. LOL

I too have to chime in. Just the other day I received a FRB that weighed in at 30 pounds! Jam packed with beautiful rough that I can't wait to get into. Really great deals. Thanks MJ!

Yes, a ruler is in the pics to show their size. Obviously, most of the chunks are fairly large pieces, much too big for tumbling, so my assumption is that someone will buy them to slab them. You could bust them up smaller for tumbling if you want to ... buyer's decision.
I've sold hundreds of pounds of Agate Road material here, of which a lot of people have shown pics of slabs and cabs. My WF has been down for months, so I haven't cut it. Even if I had a working saw, I wouldn't spend the time and effort cutting it to sell. Been there / done that. People get a much better deal buying rough, so in today's economy, selling rough makes a lot more sense.
I agree that the stones speak for themselves, and they're an excellent value at this price.

Jay, I cut and cabbed my last box of agates from MJ. Most are from Agate Road. Here's the thread. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=ccabs&action=display&thread=30486&page=1I also took pics of the slabs, here are a few that (I'm pretty sure) are from Agate Road. Know the first two are Agate Roadies, not sure about the last 'cause I never sent MJ the pics of it, LOL. Great stuff to work! And his Bubble/Seam Agates are just SO killer! Jo

Well ... I have NO clue why this hasn't sold. It's gorgeous material and I'm practically giving it away. If you've been thinking about buying it, now's the time to do it. I'm going to leave it up for sale for a few more hours, then if it's still not sold I'm going to end the offer. I was going to lower the price, but it's already ridiculously cheap, so ...
