Gday all I snared a kilo bag of boulder opal a couple of years back, because it was really cheap.I cut a couple of stones out of it but couldn't see much in most of what I had left so i sawed it up and threw it into my rotary with some 180 grit to see what would happen. It only took a couple of days to shape so then a few more days in 600 and a few more in polish. Its the fastest tumbling that i have done, my agates and wood take months.I hope you enjoy the pics a little fire yowah nuts thanks for looking pporky

Well, if you can't find the flash, that's the way to do it! They look pretty great to me! Fran

nice stuff, the opalessence (sp? if that's even the right term) of the stones in the first pic are amazing. i literally looked for quite some time, before i went to the other photos.
