Head East on hwy 202 about 25 miles. Go past the Hwy 103 Jct about 1 mile and turn right on Wage Road. Follow Wage road for 4 Miles until you hit a 4 way jct just past the 2nd bridge. Wage Rd is gravel forest road after the 1st mile but is a good surface. Turn Right again and head West about 2 miles following Buster Cr downstream until you get to the 2nd road to your left. This is reed ridge road. Go up it about 1/4 mile and stop at the first creek that crosses the road and park. You can find, quartz, jasper, and carnelian agate in the cobble in this stream and those adjacent to it. Ive found pieces from 1" to a 30" jasper boulder here. To get home, go 1/4 mile back down to buster cr rd, turn left and follow it back West about 4.5 miles which will then bring you back to hwy 103. Then its turn rt to get back to Astoria or left brings you to hwy 26 at the Elderberry Inn restraunt. Good Luck!
