I need to utilize this tip too so I'm anxiously awaiting an answer. I've heard that Gorilla Glue will come loose in hot water. Maybe you could fill a shallow baking pan with water, put it on the grill and put your slab in there slab side down. This is just off the top of my head. I have never tried it.
If that doesn't work an acetone soak might however it might be tricky if you can't soak it in something you can put a cap on. In my experience acetone evaporates really quickly. Maybe on old paint can would work if the slab is small enough. I don't have a great sense of scale from this picture.

Good tip, I never heard that one before. What kind of glue did you use?

Use good old elmers glue, I have used wood glue and it will work, too but it takes longer to get the last slab off the board. Elmers white glue will come apart after a few days, float the board in a bucket of water with the slab down in the water, eventually it will fall off the board and sink to the bottom of the bucket.
Glad someone got some use out of that tip!
