Very cool Steve. Really like the flutterbys! Are they one piece or assembled and if assembled, did you tumble them as is or with the pieces separate gluing them later?.....Mel

Wow Steve - those look great! Somehow there's something poetic about making butterflies out of dino bone. In my mind anyway! That fish on the bottom left - can't believe that one shaped so nicely with such fine lines!

Oh my, those are absolutely stunning!! I love the butterflies, I could easily see one or two of those in my flower garden.

Very cool Steve.
Ditto what Mel asked: Did you tumble them as one piece?
Do you have butterfly and fish templates or do you free hand them?

Thanks a ton Everyone! The Butterflies were all tumbled as seperate pieces and they are pictured not assembled. I am rolling some ideas around in my head about how to mount them. I used glue last time and the glue just doesn't work that great. That's one reason the Wire-Wrapped B-Flies got sent out. I am thinking about drilling holes in the body and wings, using a small piece of wire to atach the two together and mount them on rocks/wood. I want to make it look like the wings are somewhat fluttering. Just ideas...that will hopefully be more than that. I have templates that I use. The Fish are always done free-hand. Many times a rock will just tell me it needs to be a fish...and the shape shows itself. I have more Fishies get damaged in the tumbling processs. Loss of Tails is the biggest ouchie! Steve

What a treat to see more Bflies. They are just beautiful! I know you will do a great job figuring out and mounting those beauties. I love your fish also and hope you show again your wonderful fishbowl creations. They are so playful to look at.

Love the butterflies and fish. Can hardly wait to see how you are going to mount them. The wire wrapped ones turned out great. What kind of tumbler were you using?

The small fish is a cutie! Well, all of them are. And the butterflies - you made such simetric wings on them!
