Nice! Looks like snowflake all right but I think Keith was right, a blizzard. The starry night, I think, is more banded with tiny snowflakes but the types may overlap too.....Mel

I'd be afraid to take a hammer & chisel to obsidian. It is glass, after all. Think I'd stick with a saw.

Mike brought me the rock to cut for him and I finally got around to slicing it up . Here is a slice of the"BLIZZARD" The whole lot They turned out nice I know Mike will turn out some GREAT cabs with them. Keith

I have a bunch of that. The seller called it baby flake obsidian. Blizzard is a much cooler name though.
