Tony, I think it's hard already to pick a favorite amongst so many great names.
Shannon, so it's your mom whom you resemble with, when it's about your visions ;D

I did some googling of the history of both cabbing and woodturning. Both were fascinating.
How about: Wood turning to stone cabbing (catchy ring don't you think cause it sounds like you turning wood to create cabs. ) lol

First idea that pops into my head is Turning Stone but that is a name of a casino here in New York. So how about something like Tumble and Turn.

Lots of good names so far, keep em coming and don't forget to submit a funny one as well (dirty ones are acceptable for this, I'm no prude).

"Rockwood Smoothgood"
As in "Mr. Rockwood Smoothgood". A man of few words, but full of mystery and magic. Always seen wearing a trench coat & top hat. He travels from town to town solving many a problem and quieting quarrels, awing the local townspeople with a smooth cabachon or woodturned piece pulled from his trenchcoat pocket. He disappears without a trace, but leaves behind the memento in his place.

I thought of "Sticks and Stones" as soon as I heard the subject. I still like that but Weeshan already entered it. So I'm going to say:
The Lumber Quarry
or
The Beauty Within
For a funny one, how about "Turnin' my wood to rock your world"
