This is 24+ pounds of gorgeous purple jasper and quartzite from the legendary Johnnie mining district of Nye County, Nevada. Each piece here has different shades and textures, so that you have a nice representative variety of what I found out there. You'll get a lot of sweet big slabs from these! Once these go in the box, I'll add more stones to fill-er-up ... nice stones ... I don't do freebies JUST to fill the box.
Although these pics aren't too bad, they don't come anywhere close to doing these stones justice, in the least. MY jaw dropped when I saw this stuff, and I'm not easily impressed.
Although I've always gone way overboard with taping-up my boxes, the US Postal Service has recently managed to desecrate a couple of my boxes, so I'm now doubling-up on the tape. They won't be easy to open, so please be careful not to hurt yourself if you're using a sharp instrument.
