Here are pictures of the other barrel of my Lortone. Dam ... I love this rotary!!! This batch is my first attempt at working with one rock. I got this great bag of spectralite from an RTH'er and really have no idea what it would look like. But after checking this batch this morning, this rock is cool. It seems to be black with lots pf prisms(?) or layers of very cool reflective blues. I also (soon to be posted) finished my first vibe batch (the batch from hell) and pulled the spectralite that I had added a while back to the vibe. The vibe beat the crap out of the spectralite. The rotary appears to be more conducive for spectralite. The awful looking spectralite are the ones I pulled from the vibe and am now adding to this ongoing batch. I started this batch June 26th and this morning started it in 120/220. The first four pictures are from the rotary and are pictured wet. The last three are from the vibe and are dry. I suppose I am trying to save the beat up ones.

Question - the ones from the vibe - were they in with other, different types of rocks? Spectralite is, according to reviews.ebay.com/What-is-Labradorite-Sunstone-Amazonite_W0QQugidZ10000000005704612another name for labradorite, and should have a hardness of 6.0-6.5. If you had it in the vibe with, for example, agate, quartz, amethyst, etc., I'd guess they would pretty much beat the crap out of the spectralite. I'm pretty much a newbie, but I've already learned (the HARD way) not to mix hardnesses in one batch. ;D

Hey Julie, If you reran these in the vibe, you could run them with the moonstone I sent you to make enough for a full load. This is awesomely cool stuff. Jo
