These are the first cabs I've cut with some of the new material I picked up down at the Pow-wow's. I posted a trip report and pics of the 10 day collecting trip in the Trips/Shows forum. The set. ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5467.jpg) Carey Plume: I got this pre-form in a 3 for $5 bin at Prineville. ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5475.jpg) ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5476.jpg) ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5477.jpg) Blue Biggs: I got these two small slices at Prineville in the far back corner. My brother got an awesome Carey Plume pre-form from the same dealer. ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5473.jpg) ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5474.jpg) Deschutes: These two slices are from Elkins in Prineville. ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5468.jpg) ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5469.jpg) Vistaite: I got this slab at Madras. We did spend two days collecting in the area and I did find a few pieces of this elusive material. ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5471.jpg) ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5472.jpg) Fern Plume: I've had this piece since last year and just finally got it worked up. ![](http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/pp206/danheuer/DSCF5470.jpg) ..shine on..

That is a gorgeous group of cabs. The second Blue Bigs and the Fern Plume are my favorites in this group.

Holy cats! That Carey came form an inexpensive stone bin! Absolutely beautiful stone! Haven't seen a lot of that fern plume either. All the stones are your usually outstanding work but those two plumes.....WOW!.....Mel

Dang HPD, you came back with gusto, man those are all so incredible, I really can't pick a fav, your deschutes is always killer, but that fern plume must be the winner, too awesome! Glad you had fun! Amber
