I finally pulled a load that has been running forever. I returned some of Michael Johns purple to get a smoother finish as well as doing some others. I even like how the filler rocks turned out. The whole group together Just the purples Thanks for looking! Fran

Cool batch!! Hey, those purples look familiar. Are those the same stuff that I slabbed for you?

Fran, do you get these results with rotating tumblers, or do you vibe them at the end? Just trying to learn .....

Tom, It took a long time but when I put the Michael John purples in the vibe, it seemed to beat them up. Had to go back to the 120-220 and start again from there and ran them in the rotary. I like how they turned out now! No Randy, it's not the same stuff although it sure looks similar. Maybe what Michael John found is more like the cutting grade amethyst rather than the jasper. Hard to say. I am pretty happy with them, especially the one that looks like it has a face, laying down in the back. Really cool patterns in some of them. Fran
