I know that several members went on the collecting trip. If its local its probably out of a quarry. Yours has seen some weathering and that is why its not the same. Some of what I got was very very soft and more grey than green.

Tony!! Love them all ... however ... I really love the Labradorite ...
I am almost done with a Labradorite (Spectralite) batch in my Lortone (3 lb).
