Well the Lot O is up and running! I have to say that after 1 day I am amazed! That little thing really does a number on these rocks! I put in 4 pounds of small agates I got from Sheri, and they looked sort of drab. I rinsed them tonight in the bowl, per Tom's instructions and I could not believe the colors already! WOW. I love that this thing is so quiet! So no pics, duh should have taken before ones, but I have some similar material. Will see how it proceeds from here! I must thank Tom for all his help! I could not have done this without his advice! So thanks Connrock  Grasshopper is waiting for further instruction! |

My Lot O is also running. Been awhile, since I posted rock stuff! I'm kind of experimenting, and using larger rocks with some smaller ones. Thanks again to the gurus. You all rock! Also have my double Thumler going, with Ralph & Mary Ann's rocks I bought awhile back.
Tooooo bad, sooooo sad, the 18-year-old kid (who likes mermaids and will be leaving in a month) thinks the tumblers are too noisy...

It is amazingly quiet, not annoying at all. Tony brought his vibe one weekend and it was so freaking loud! We were in my small work area with the Lot O and the cab machine running and could talk! I love this thing! I live in a duplex and was worried about the neighbors but I am sure they can't hear it, it is less nosiy than my cab machine.

Wow ... I suppose I need to be saving up my pennies to get one of those.
This vibe is so loud that I no longer run it after 8 pm and not before 7 am. I do have to admit though that if I do it as close to right as possible, the outcome is pretty good ... I think.
We shall see when I am finished with this batch.
Oh well .... live and learn

That is great Amber! My vibe is loud too. I think I have one like Julie. It has a plastic bowl rather than a rubber one and that makes a difference.
