Sure would like to know what this stuff is. This looks like some kind of fossil, but maybe not. No Clue The person I bought this from said there was a vein in CO that someone found. The vein was short lived and he doesn't even know if it ever had a name. Anyone ever see or hear of it before? Thanks! Curt

I suck at ID's so take that into consideration when I guess llananite (sp?), dontknowite, and mookite.

Tony The first isn't Llanite, being from Tx, I have that one down. Third one is supposed to be from CO and none left, but does look like Mook. Thanks for your answers though. No one is more ID ignorant than I am. ;D Curt

Jo, that's just a shine. I used water to bring out the pattern and then took a lousy pic.

Third one looks like Mook to me. Second one looks like an Indian Zebra Jasper variant. Number one may be orbicular rhyolite of some sort. In some of these rhyolites the orbs are more flowery than true spheres....Mel

Curt, yep, like little white flowers with red centers, and some have a reddish brown ring on the outside of the flower, with a thin band of white outside it.
