I am in a cabbing frenzy trying to make gifts for the trip out west, so here are a few I finished! Psilomene-Nasty dirty stuff to cab, made a horrible mess! Labordorite Local Stuff-serpentine and blue quartz Flourapatite with hematite inclusion-local Local-agate material from Silver Creek PA Moonstones This a feldspar from Canada we got at a local show, do not know the name but it has the most incredible flash and shimmer almost like the inside of a shell, also very hard to work as it is similar in composition to Kyanite, but I love this stuff! A little OJ nubbin with a high dome, yeah! Deschuttes- a little practice piece, man this stuff is nice to cab! Apatite Laguna Lapis- 2nd one was talking to Tony and looked away and smashed a beautiful lapis on the last wheel, ughghghghggh Local PA Joanginite White Jade-these were from a slab from the rock auction, and he had them labeled white jade, very nice material, took an excellent shine with the diamond wheels only. More coming, I thought I was being tricky taking these pics outside it was a beautiful sunny day but they sort of look crappy, LOL There is just no easy way to get a good photo! Amber

Great cabs Amber! They're all so beautiful! That psilomene is cool stuff. A friend of mine just showed me some she hounded in the U.P. last weekend. It seemed really soft to me, I didn't think you could cab it. Guess I was wrong.

The color is way off on these photos. They are much prettier in person. I like the flourapatite (no Curt its not a made up name, at least not by us. It contains 4 different minerals), the lapis and the white jade.
