I'm not exactly sure where to post this. I'll drop in here and if it needs to be moved, please be my guest.
My wife has a large piece of blue glass in her fish tank that doesn't sit straight, so she asked me to chop the bottom off to level it. Well who am I to say "no" to a reason to dig out my trusty WF saw?!? ;D
So as long as I had it out, I cut a few stones up, and preformed a piece of the glass to make a jewel of sorts. It's done all free hand, so it's not even close to having perfect angles and whatnot, but Emily loved it anyway.
I also cut an agate a friend of mine hounded in the U.P. She showed me it today at work and I volunteered to cut it and polish the face for her. It's a little larger than a quarter.
